The ideal candidate will possess an intense desire to learn and grow their technical skillset while bringing demonstratable knowledge administering endpoints within a Microsoft Enterprise environment. You’ll also showcase your skills with Active Directory/Azure-AD, Single-Sign-On, AWS Cloud and more while partnering with our Sr. Engineers to lead development and troubleshooting on a multitude of hardware and software systems. Managing escalations while remaining flexible to work on additional projects and requests is essential. You must have a passion for technology, a strong desire to collaborate, and a solid track record of demonstrating initiative.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with IT, Information Security and other engineering teams to manage and maintain our configuration standards, and security baselines for all endpoints and servers.
- Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for all aspects of endpoint configuration.
Perform maintenance and help manage our physical and virtual assets, including full endpoint lifecycle, deployment & management of servers in virtualized environments.
- Provide support for all IT services, troubleshoot problems, and guiding our users while communicating and enforcing policies and best-practices.
- Assist with deploying and managing saturation of 3rd party application patches, Microsoft patches and macOS patches.
- End-to-End IAM management for on-boards/off-boards, internal role changes, and more across our Azure AD, AWS Cloud and other environments.
- Manage and report on end point client saturation for Windows and macOS Laptops, and compute endpoints within Azure and AWS.
- Provide operational support for AWS and Azure environments and associated infrastructure, enterprise applications, on premises hardware all within a mission critical, high availability, 24x7x365 environment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose and work with 3rd party vendors as necessary to provide technical resolution.
- Leverage PowerBI and other tools to generate asset management, client installation and software inventory reports and dashboards.
- Leverage ITIL best practices within Ticketing Systems to manage all customer requests for technical support, projects, asset management, change management.
- Contribute to department planning meetings and provide input on system options, risks, and impact to our organizational processes and goals.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as required.
- Provide escalatorion support and training for our other IT Administrators and other users.
What You Need:
- 5+ years recent experience administering, deploying and maintaining tools such as:
iOS/macOS & Windows 10/11 Enterprise user-endpoints.
- 5+ years recent experience administering MDMs, Patching & Security tools such as:
Automox, MS Intune, Rapid7, WorkspaceOne, etc.
- 5+ years recent experience with various Microsoft workloads;
MS Azure, MS Active Directory, Office365, Windows Autopilot, etc.
- Familiarity with general networking protocols, technologies & best practices.
- Demonstratable knowledge of PowerShell and other CLI interfaces.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Experience supporting an SLA-based ITIL aligned environment.
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and updated records of work performed while adhering to technical requirements and standards.
- Ability to work within a controlled & documented environment with an emphasis on strict change-management.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to meet project objectives.
- Active listening skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical staff to resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for learning and a strong commitment to your team and mission.
- Participate in Departmental 24x7 on call rotation.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Certifications.
- CCNA, JNCIA or similar network
- Previous role as an Endpoint Administrator.
- Previous role supporting Apple endpoints.
- Previous experience owning Asset Management.
- Previous roles administering a hybrid active-directory environment.
- Previous roles administering MS Intune.
- Previous roles administering Linux/(Free/Hardened)BSD
