Job Description

 

ClearDATA is seeking a  Manager, Content Strategy responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing programs.   

As someone with experience in B2B technology marketing, you have an advanced understanding of key concepts in persona-based marketing and you understand how to leverage that knowledge to improve the performance of marketing campaigns, sales and marketing tools, events, and other demand generation activities. You understand the importance of creating compelling content and how to effectively use it to fuel all aspects of the marketing mix including social media, search, email, content syndication, and partner enablement.     

Additionally, you are high performer with the ability to understand complex concepts, work on multiple initiatives simultaneously, and complete projects on time and on budget. You have experience effectively managing production resources (in-house or outsourced). You are an excellent communicator and take pride in delivering quality work.   Theme-driven communication and positioning approaches are your specialty, and you enjoy composing stories for internal and external communications.

What You’ll Do:  

  •  Create, manage and optimize marketing content, including the development and testing of campaign messaging, creative, and reporting  
  • Together with your manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing our leadership positioning and communications
  • To this end, you will actively create cross-format communications, from talking points for internal and external events to presentations for executive communications to guest articles and posts for digital formats
  • Conduct on-going market research to refine buyer personas with a focus on providing recommendations to improve campaign results  
  • Manage the editorial calendar, including development of articles, blogs, whitepapers, best practice guides and other thought-leadership and demand generation content  
  •  Work closely with the product team to create compelling sales and marketing tools that drive new demand, reduce the sales cycle, and improve win rates  
  • Formulate effective, target group-oriented messages for a wide variety of internal and external C-level communications and use your expertise in all widely used formats and text types for the positioning of C-level players
  • Build and establish a Thought Leadership Center of Excellence, working closely with SMEs to create their bylined articles and social content as well as to film video features that help raise their profiles through earned media opportunities – all contributing to increased brand awareness for ClearDATA
  • Together with the Digital Marketing Manager, develop and execute upon an integrated SEO plan to improve organic traffic to the ClearDATA website
  • Leverage and manage the use of AI and other tools to create and scale content

What You Need:  

  • 5-7 years’ B2B technology or relevant marketing experience, ideally in healthcare technology, security, compliance, or cloud computing  
  • Verifiable success managing and optimizing marketing content
  • A positive, can-do attitude, excitement to build something, and confidence taking on new challenges to achieve objectives  
  •  Excellent project management skills and a tenacious devotion to getting stuff done    
  • A topic-driven mindset and excellent copywriting skills, as well as extensive experience creating content across formats
  • A proactive approach to ideating and sourcing content topics
  • Comfort working in a structured manner and, ideally, experience in project management
  • Your finger on the pulse of the how and when to use current and effective communications formats, and measure their success
  • The ability to grasp complex issues quickly and package them for different target groups in fitting and understandable way
  • A team player mindset
