Job Description

ClearDATA is seeking creative and passionate accounting experts to join us in making healthcare better every single day. Our customers include some of the biggest names in healthcare and life sciences. They depend on us to deliver tools, systems, and services that keep them compliant and secure in the cloud without slowing them down.

What you’ll Do:

  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP
  • Coordination of financial audits
  • Facilitate the month end financial close process
  • Collaborate with department leaders in accounting and finance matters
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, taxes, and fixed assets
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Manage treasury and banking functions
  • Administration of Sales/Use Tax
  • Lead staff in setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Coordinate special projects, analyses and duties as needed

 Required Experience and Attributes:

  • 6 + years of recent relevant financial experience
  • BS. in Accounting or equivalent, CPA preferred
  • Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), subscription-based, or recurring-revenue companies
  • NetSuite experience
  • Experience managing direct reports and the desire to lead, train and support the work of others
  • Experience with State Sales Tax reporting
  • Ability to successfully prioritize/organize
  • Flexible, adaptable, ability to be hands-on, and a strong work ethic
  • High degree of interpersonal skills to facilitate teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail & robust quantitative skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
