Job Description

Reports To:  Help Desk Manager


The kind of person we are looking for:

You are the type of person who not only soaks up knowledge but seeks it out.  You have some previous I.T. experience, but want to expand your skillset.  You have sharp attention to detail and enjoy collaborating with others.  You can solve problems on your own, but know when to seek help.  You have worked in a Windows environment and have done some troubleshooting.  You probably spend time outside of work learning about various parts of systems, networking, databases or business, or perhaps you have a little project on the side.


 Key Activities:

  • Learn new technologies and best practices
  • Work in a secure environment dealing with HIPAA, SCO2, PCI frameworks, and deal with robust security and auditing requirements
  • Troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues with workstations, applications, and software
  • Configure and deploy equipment using imaging tools
  • Deploy OS updates, software patches, hardware updates
  • Onboard/Offboard VisitPay employees
  • Day-to-day system, workstation, and application support of geographically dispersed users
  • Work with AD/AAD, IIS, SQL Server, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Fortinet, SSL/IPsec VPN, Windows 10, Mac OS, Office 365, Intune, Linux, and Windows Server
  • Collaboration within I.T. and across the organization
  • Work with multiple cloud providers and physical hardware
  • Documenting changes

  • We are looking for someone that has 1-2 years of experience supporting Microsoft products
  • Strong background in Desktop and End User support
  • Experience with Windows OS and Server Platforms
  • Worked in a regulated or audited environment (PCI, HIPAA, SOX…)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Knowledge of security best practices
