Candidate experience is a crucial component of Recruitment at Somatus. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator role provides administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition and HR Teams. This multi-faceted position also performs routine administrative tasks and may manage small to medium complexity projects in support of recruiting processes.

This is an on-site role that will require you to be local to McLean, VA.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Recruiters in all aspects of the recruiting life cycle. Create and maintain an exceptional candidate experience through the following processes:
  • Schedule candidate interviews with Hiring Managers through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Liaison with Executive Assistants for calendar management to support Executive Hiring.
  • Distribute interview schedules, guides, resumes, and any additional materials as required per interview format.
  • Correspond with candidates to confirm and respond to any inquiries
  • Initiate Onboarding Tasks through the ATS.
  • Maintain data integrity within the ATS to accurately reflect current status and update the candidate’s profile with the most current information
  • Follows company practices and guidelines for hiring
  • Coordinates start date adjustments and pre-employment information
  • Alleviate delays during pre-employment and onboarding
  • Submit new hire equipment request form (AARF)
  • Initiate the badge ordering process.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance both candidate experience and workflow efficiencies
  • Partner with TA and HR Leadership Team on process improvement opportunities to improve candidate experience and simplify organizational processes.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3+ year(s) administrative and/or HR administrative experience
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably iCIMS) desired

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent multi-tasker and time management skills
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products
