Role

We’re seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing Growth team. This role is pivotal in driving our demand generation efforts for SmarterDx and meeting marketing qualified lead (MQL) goals. As a SDR, you will be responsible for top-of-the-funnel sales activity and working in tandem with the Growth team to generate pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Generate your own SQLs while nurturing converting MQLs from webinars, trade shows, web traffic, etc.
  • Work with RVPs to align prospect into geographic territories
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to identify and qualify potential leads within hospitals and health systems
  • Qualify potential opportunities and handle inbound requests on the SmarterDx website
  • Utilize a combination of prospecting tools, databases and industry research to build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted messaging and campaigns to engage prospects and drive interest in SmarterDx
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while collaborating on outreach strategies for new demand-generation methods
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback from prospect interactions to inform marketing campaigns, product development, and sales strategies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of SDR experience in tech (1+ healthcare tech experience preferred)
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., FrontSpin, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to manage leads and track performance
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently
  • Coachable and responsive to feedback
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions and engage prospects effectively

Compensation

$60-80k + equity + commission
