The Senior Director / VP of People & Talent will be a key member of the leadership team and own all aspects of our People function—Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Organizational Development, and Culture & Engagement. This role is equal parts strategic leadership and hands-on execution, ideal for someone excited to scale a best-in-class people function at a fast-growing healthcare company.

Responsibilities:

  • People & Culture Strategy
  • Design and lead an integrated people strategy that aligns with business goals and supports our mission, values, and culture.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape organizational design and workforce planning as the company scales.
  • Champion a culture of performance, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment team and ensure a high-quality, efficient hiring process.
  • Develop and refine our employer value proposition to attract top-tier clinical and non-clinical talent.
  • Build scalable hiring infrastructure to support high-growth, multi-state operations.
  • Ensure a structured and data-driven approach to hiring, onboarding, and retention.
  • Organizational Development & Performance
  • Lead learning and development strategies that foster internal mobility, leadership growth, and professional development.
  • Implement and evolve performance management systems to align with business priorities and support employee growth.
  • People Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure HR compliance and operational excellence across benefits, compensation, policies, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Optimize people systems and tools to create seamless, data-driven HR experiences for employees and managers.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive HR/People leadership experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in a high-growth, tech-enabled healthcare or multi-site services company is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record scaling people functions from early- to mid-stage growth (100–1000+ employees).
  • Deep understanding of modern people practices across TA, HRBP, org development, and culture.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data orientation and comfort with people analytics.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and change management skills.
