How you will help

As a Manager, Technical Real-World Data (RWD) Solutions, you will serve as a client-facing player-coach leader to manage and grow our Technical Solutions team. This team designs and delivers software solutions that support identity resolution, data integration, and advanced RWD use cases such as clinical trial enablement, real-world evidence (RWE) generation, patient mastering, and longitudinal patient journey analytics.

You’ll blend hands-on technical solutioning expertise and leadership capabilities, driving the development and adoption of AI and low/no-code tools (e.g., Gemini, Replit, Make.com, Zapier) to accelerate solution delivery, streamline internal workflows, and empower client and internal teams.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of technical solution engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Act as a hands-on solutions lead for complex engagements—working directly with clients (both external and internal-facing) to understand their business needs, shape solutions, and ensure technical feasibility and compliance.
  • Provide advisory support to internal teams tasked with designing and documenting scalable solutions for identity matching, resolution, and AI-enabled workflows that enhance client RWD use cases.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, RWD SMEs, Product, Engineering, and Privacy teams to develop solution patterns, architectural diagrams, and implementation guides.
  • Introduce and champion AI tools across teams; create playbooks and training to drive adoption of ChatGPT, Gemini, Make.com, Replit, and related platforms.
  • Support and improve internal processes to streamline how solutions are designed, documented, and handed off for implementation.
  • Maintain awareness of RWD/RWE and AI/automation industry trends, challenges, and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, de-identification, clinical trial guidelines).
  • Define and track team metrics to assess quality, scalability, adoption, and impact of technical + AI-enabled solutions.
  • Roll up your sleeves to build and effectively communicate complex solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.

How success will be defined

  • Creatively and strategically position HealthVerity to win against the competition by building trust and credibility as a subject matter expert (SME).
  • Deliver end-to-end solutioning projects that blend traditional data architectures with AI-enabled workflows.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and ensure clients achieve measurable outcomes from the solutions you design.
  • Provide coaching, skill development, and performance management for a high performing team of technical solutioning consultants.

Required skills and experience

  • 5+ years designing technical/data solutions, including architecture, client-facing engagement, and documentation.
  • 2+ years of player-coach or team leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data (claims, EHR, registries, etc.), RWE, and data privacy frameworks.
  • Familiarity with identity resolution, tokenization, and HIPAA-compliant data linkage.
  • Desire to improve and streamline process and workflow for internal teams via tooling, automation, and/or scalable products.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical, life sciences, or government clients.
  • Comfort with modern data stacks (cloud platforms, APIs, data lakes).
  • Hands-on experience with AI enablement tools (Gemini, Make.com, Zapier, Replit) and track record of building, then driving adoption.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $120,000 - 155,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
