The Role We are looking for a Director of Healthcare Analytics to join our evolving team and manage the processes responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. The Director of Healthcare Analytics will work closely with leaders across tech, product, operations, clinical performance and marketing to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate and collaborate cross-lane effectively is essential. This role will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics. You will create and analyze reports to support clinical operations and present report findings to stakeholders and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units. As an early hire on our Analytics team, this role will come with a ton of autonomy, a broad scope, and will allow you to put your fingerprints on our analytics function as we build it from the ground up. Responsibilities - Manage and mentor a team of analysts, providing direction, prioritization, and professional development
- Support and oversee complex dashboards, reporting, and analytical deliverables
- Analyze data and clearly communicate insights, trends, and opportunities to executive and operational leadership
- Provide technical leadership in automating reporting and supporting the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Technology to build scalable, sustainable analytics solutions
- Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives using data modeling and analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify optimization opportunities
- Build, maintain, and evolve data models, dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
- Oversee the design and delivery of reporting that evaluates business functions, clinical operations, and key performance indicators
- Manage the full analytics project lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, validation, analysis, and presentation
- Act as a liaison between analytics, leadership, and operational teams to ensure insights are understood and actionable
- Own the data and reporting intake process, including request tracking, prioritization, and alignment with organizational goals
- Establish and enforce quality controls, documentation standards, and best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Drive successful execution of analytics initiatives through effective collaboration and stakeholder management
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years of experience in healthcare in a position monitoring, manipulating and drawing insights from data. Preferred to have direct experience in clinical care models, and/or Value Based Programs
- Experience working with and creating dashboards
- Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration cross lane skills
- Good project management skills - Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to support various team members; Ability to complete assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; Attention to detail and follow-through in tasks to meet completing demands deliverables
- The right candidate will also be proficient and experienced with the following tools/programs:
- Deep experience with data visualization tools: Power Bi, Tableau etc.
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
