About the Role

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Sourcing: Proactively identify new investment opportunities and evaluate inbound leads by meeting with entrepreneurs and assessing business potential.
• Deal Diligence: Support the investment team with market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, performance metrics, and technical due diligence for new opportunities.
• Portfolio Support: Collaborate with the Flare Capital team to add value to portfolio companies throughout their growth stages.
• Ecosystem Building: Engage with the Boston startup and healthcare community by organizing activities, attending local events, and strengthening Flare Capital's presence.

About You

• 4+ years of experience, including but not limited to, investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or private equity (preferably in an analytical capacity); bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong connections within the healthcare, life sciences, or technology community.
• Familiarity with AI/Automation and authentic passion for early-stage company building a plus.
• Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with entrepreneurs and industry professionals regularly.
