About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our investment team. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with visionary entrepreneurs and cutting-edge healthcare technologies, gaining hands-on experience in early-stage investing.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sourcing: Proactively identify new investment opportunities and evaluate inbound leads by meeting with entrepreneurs and assessing business potential.
- Deal Diligence: Support the investment team with market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, performance metrics, and technical due diligence for new opportunities.
- Portfolio Support: Collaborate with the Flare Capital team to add value to portfolio companies throughout their growth stages.
- Ecosystem Building: Engage with the Boston startup and healthcare community by organizing activities, attending local events, and strengthening Flare Capital's presence.
About You
- 4+ years of experience, including but not limited to, investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or private equity (preferably in an analytical capacity); bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong connections within the healthcare, life sciences, or technology community.
- Familiarity with AI/Automation and authentic passion for early-stage company building a plus.
- Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with entrepreneurs and industry professionals regularly.
